Stainless steel torx screws  is characteried by a 6-point star-shaped pattern on its head. Torx screws are also knows as Start Screws. Officailly it is known ISO 10664 name given by as International Organization for Standardization. Metric button head torx screws has higher cam-out resistance than Phillips head  or slot head screws. 6-48 torx screws are designed to exert higher torque without damaging the head and/or the tool. Torx head sizes are named using the capital alphabet "T" followed by a numerical ranging from T1 to T100.
